Jane Froiland is based in St. Paul, Minnesota where she lives with her husband and their dogs, Gilda and Nemo.
As an actor, Jane has worked with such companies as: Park Square Theatre, Children's Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Jungle Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, Old Log Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, Yellow Tree Theatre, Dark and Stormy Productions, Frank Theatre, The Playwright's Center, Illusion Theatre, Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival, Gremlin Theatre, Walking Shadow Theatre, Minnesota Jewish Theatre, and many more. Jane is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
Jane has appeared in back to back Ivey Award winning productions: Doubt with Ten Thousand Things, and Compleat Female Stage Beauty with Walking Shadow.
She was named Best Actress in a Drama by Lavender Magazine for her work in Rocket to the Moon.
In addition to her stage work, Jane is also a film, commercial, and voiceover talent, recently shooting a project for the IFC network as well as being a principal on the hit web series, "Theater People."
As a director, Jane has directed or assistant directed for : Lakeshore Players, Ten Thousand Things, History Theatre, Ashland Productions, and Woodbury High School.
As a teaching artist, Jane has taught for many companies, including: Lakeshore Players, Lyric Arts, Drama Kids of Hennepin County, Stages Theatre Company, Stepping Stone Theatre, Youth Performance Company, Yellow Tree Theatre, and many more.
Jane also serves as the head coach of The White Bear Lake speech team, the Spring Play director for Woodbury High School, as well as an actor with Science Live for the Science Museum of Minnesota.
Jane recently became host of The Bazzness, a podcast produced by Minnesota Playlist featuring interviews with fascinating local artists.
She is a hard worker, a loud laugher, and dreams of one day figuring out how to use snapchat.
